Delete your account
You can ask us to delete your QuFit or QuFit Trainer account at any time. This page explains how, what gets removed, and what we have to keep.
Request deletion by email
Send an email to [email protected] from the email address registered to the account, with the subject "Delete my QuFit account".
Email us from your registered address
We use the sending address to verify ownership. A request from a different address can't be actioned — we'd have no way to confirm it's you.
Tell us which app
QuFit (trainee) or QuFit Trainer (coach), and the phone number on the account if you have it to hand.
We confirm within 3 business days
You'll get a reply confirming the request and the date your data will be erased.
Deletion completes within 30 days
Your account and personal data are permanently removed. This cannot be undone.
Or from your phone
You can also start the request from the app, which saves you finding your registered address:
- Open Profile → Settings.
- Choose Support, and send us a deletion request from the account you're signed in to.
Before you delete: if you have an active course, tell your trainer first. Deleting your account ends the course and neither of you will be able to see its plan, logs or history afterwards.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, email, phone number, photo, height and date of birth.
- Your training and meal logs, progress photos, weights and measurements.
- Your courses, course requests and the plans written for you.
- Your posts, reels, comments and likes in the community.
- Every sign-in token, so all your devices are signed out.
What we keep, and why
A small amount of data outlives the account because we're required to keep it, or because deleting it would misrepresent someone else's records:
- Payment records — amount, date and method, kept for the period required by tax and accounting law. These are financial records of a transaction between you and your trainer.
- Aggregated, anonymous statistics — totals that can no longer be linked back to you.
Nothing we keep identifies you beyond what the law requires us to retain.
Changed your mind?
Before deletion completes, reply to the confirmation email and we'll cancel the request. Once it's done, it can't be reversed — you'd need to create a new account, and previous plans and history won't be recoverable.
